Una Stevanović holds an M.A. in Politics from SciencesPo and a B.A in history, global studies, and film/TV from UCLA, with 4+ years of experience in production, journalism, communications, film programming, writing, and event coordination. She thrives where international affairs and politics meet film, media and writing. She hopes to use her years of professional technical expertise and education creatively to connect to people through visual and written storytelling.
She is deeply passionate about presenting crucial political and cultural stories through video production and writing, and believes that film is one of the strongest tools to inform and affect an audience. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, and her background in film and politics furnishes her with an in depth, on-the-pulse understanding of Hollywood, culture, and people. She has countless fresh and exciting ideas that will resonate with a wide range of audiences.
She is completing her M.A. in International Governance and Diplomacy with a concentration in Human Rights at Sciences Po - Paris School of International Affairs, where she studied major political, economic, social, humanitarian, strategic, and logistical topics in depth, attended major multilateral political events, met global change makers, and advanced her full professional understanding of geopolitical issues.
During her B.A. in History, Global Studies, and Film/TV at UCLA, she worked for three years as the Director of Film Festivals in a dynamic events programming organisation catering to a public of 30,000+ in Los Angeles, California while working and studying in film production and digital media. She worked within the film industry in Los Angeles for 3+ years, and has experience in programming, production, representation, and marketing globally. She also has extensive technical experience with video/photo/audio editing softwares and video production equipment, as well as an in-depth understanding of journalistic writing.
